Prior to joining The Harris Law Firm in 2012, Summer Chappell obtained her Paralegal Certificate in 2013 from Arlington Career Institute. Due to Summer’s previous education from Tarrant County Community College and University of Texas of Arlington in business and marketing, she has been elected as Chief Financial Officer of The Harris Law Firm. Her dedication to the job has made an individual impact on each and every client. Summer views her job helping clients through tough family situations as a ministry to others.

Summer is a strong believer in community service and supporter of many causes such as Domestic Violence. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, relaxing on the patio, perfecting her sharp-shooting at the gun range as an avid supporter for one’s 2nd Amendment rights, as well as spending time with her rescue German Shepherd dog (the office mascot) Layla.

She is an active member of the Tarrant County Family Bar Association and Fort Worth Paralegal Association. Additionally, she has completed the Tarrant County Citizens Prosecutors Academy at the Tim Curry Justice Center.

Summer recently decided to finish her undergraduate degree in business and marketing to pursue her Juris Doctorate and continuing to work in family law, but for now she is more than happy to help make a difference in clients’ lives through her work at The Harris Law Firm.
