Harry “Trey” Harris, III is a board-certified family law attorney and lifelong Texan with roots in Fort Worth that span three generations. He has practiced law for more than 20 years, representing clients in adoptions, divorce, child custody, child support, CPS cases, complex family litigation, pre-marital agreements, wills, and estate planning. He brings strategic thinking, a strong courtroom presence, and a results-driven approach to cases in Tarrant, Johnson, Parker, and other North Texas counties.

Trey began his career in a large law firm, later co-owning a family law practice before founding The Harris Law Firm in 2012. He blends legal skill with practical insight to give clients honest advice and assertive representation in high-stakes matters.

As a litigator and mediator, Trey works with the courts to resolve disputes through tailored, big-picture solutions. He has taught continuing education courses on enforcement of court orders, co-parenting strategies, and procedural law, sharing his experience with the legal community.

Trey is a divorced father who has earned recognition as a “model co-parent” from colleagues and judges. His personal experience helps him understand the challenges families face during separation. Outside the office, he enjoys aviation, watch collecting, and exploring the connections between law, culture, and the realities of divorce.
